| This was kinda inspirational episode seeing how a discovery made by Draka tries to turn her life around. Nonetheless, the heliocentric themes remain as strong as ever. Draka just happens to get a fate encounter. This almost felt like a standalone story but still ties in with the overall concepts of the show. |

| So, Draka is a girl. I thought she was a boy but okay, it looks like she caught up pretty quickly on the world and the order that Money is the one thing that runs the world and how everyone has to do something they aren't even sure about for something that might look like such an insignificant thing in the beginning, but it's not. Her Uncle was shitty for that. Making her the scapegoat of his arrest. But, looks like she has found out about the book, and the ideas in that book have stirred her brain well. So, let's see where things go from here on out for her. I'm rooting for you, Draka. I hope you escape from this place. |

| Says a lot when you somehow manage to be the most despicable person in the room (well, field) while standing next to Antoni. Uncle of the year material right there. I don't know why but the 10% share of the profits for Potocki cracks me up every time it gets mentioned, and I love that Oczy did become an influential author in a way. |

Not only was he a massive hypocrite for getting upset at Draka wandering off from the campsite since he was doing the same in the wine cellar, BUT he also sold out his own niece and village to Antoni to escape. His own flesh and blood after talking all that shit about her looking out for him all these years and being her only relative. It be ya own people You know how shitty a human being you have to be to not be the worst person in a room with Antoni??? Speaking of Antoni I guess he did get that promotion to bishop and is still the most unholy thing around. Selling people into slavery, killing trespassers without even getting the full story and threatening villages, very Christ like! While Draka uncle sold her out because of cowardice and evil, it might be the best gift he’s ever given her since she found Oczy’s book thus keeping the heliocentric dream alive and potentially being a big money maker lol. And they said the thing!! So Oczy’s book is the series namesake. That’s dope. Great, but hard to watch ep. |

| First episode I didn't quite get. 1) Why did Draka instantly think about making money with the book she read? There was nothing in there that reeks like money making. 2) We've barely seen strong men in this anime outside the church and guards, and now there's this strong tomboy girl all of sudden? Having lost her father as a child doesn't explain her toughness, surely lots of children experience the same. Feels a bit out of place, especially compared to Jolenta. Fwiw I actually expected the tribe leader to screw her over. His whole "nah, let's not strive for better, let's just keep things as they are" had a lot of "I'm secretly benefitting from this status quo"-energy. |

| Apparently I wasn't the only one who was surprised that Draka isn't a boy. I like the way Draka is - Mr. Crab would be proud! Draka's quest for money to find happiness after what happened to his father is interesting. However, the conformist nature of his people makes it difficult to achieve that goal, despite having great ideas. And here I thought Antoni was the most despicable character, but then Dhruv, Draka's uncle, enters the scene to give him competition. What a hypocrite, giving Draka that lecture only to then sell her out to Antoni. Although he wasn't wrong that this event would change Draka's life, now Draka has found Rafal's diary. I miss Rafal 😞 and it's amazing how relevant he still is, even after all this time. |

| Orb just keeps on giving in 2025. With updated visuals in its second opening the story now is being carried out 25 years after Jolenta escaped and both Badeni and Oczy (and the one rebel inquisitor) perished. What have become of the former we don't know though I suspect she must be the boss of Schmidt and his prophetic gang that goes around liberating people from the Church. Meanwhile we have 2 points: the boy who had his parents killed in an argument between his father and his uncle due to a philosophical debate that you could certain bring up today; and Draka's village being near and her conviciton to make money in order to stop being fearful (how she came to that conclusion was interesting considering what she was led to believe). Now, we have her uncle who she trusted being a total scumbag by selling her out in order to survive not before she found the book from long ago with simplistic writing about heliocentrism and admiration for God. Will she be able to make a profit from it? Who was that boy? Where's Jolenta? And how am I going to wait until the next episode? |

| This is my favorite episode since episode 3! I was not a fun of the last chapter because I hate Badeni, but it seems this new chapter will spark my love for this anime again. Draka is a really interesting character so far and I can't wait to see what happens when he meets Schmidt... It's been a long time since I quoted someone from this show so here are some good quotes: "Freedom without morals is chaos." - Dhruv "There's no evidence that God exists. | The narration is all over the place in this one. And the main reason is that the content currently feels unsuitable for the episodic format. Maybe Draka's family dying fit more in this episode because they are a character just introduced. But that would he violating 24 minute regulations. |

| Now we have a protagonist, Draka, who by the irony of fate, found the book of her predecessors. So what will her destiny be, especially since her uncle played dirty by selling her to Antoni? |
| Draka's character seems interesting so far, but still early days and the anime episode as a whole had a different sort of vibe to the others. Curious to see how the book of heliocentrism affects her direction for the long run, the ideas did stimulate her mind based on the book. Her uncle really did her dirty there but he has always stated that he's a survivor and someone who prioritizes himself over others, and that was on display here. I have other thoughts I could ramble on about, but this was a solid episode in building up this new arc. |

A bit too convenient how all these coincedence happens one after another but maybe it's just fate or a miracle that'll change the world. |

| From a village, springs the young girl of Dhaka trying to improve her village's standard of living through profit, and yet there's the Chief trying to appease her by money or means finding something significant for her way of life living with her frail uncle. But "money being the root of evil" as they say, Dhaka's uncle's wisdoms definitely have got the better of his daughter trying to do ambitious things without giving second thought. And from young, the teachings that her uncle taught her to disvow the Church and learn all that she can. In the midst of Dhaka's uncle not realizing Badeni's village is populated with the Church and drinking his wine away in his house, him getting captured by the bishop to only sell his own daughter out, that's lowball of him to do so. But him also knowing that he stumbled on something big in the village, it's the realization of Badeni's book that finally sealed her life's fate thinking that she could sell the book for money and spread the faith of heliocentrism at the same time while remaining anonymous, it could very well be the path settng her trajectory. The question now: will Draka be captured by the Church, or will she move the world first? |

| Draka's uncle is probably a representation of the double edged sword Draka's conviction/drive brings to the table when it comes to spreading new ideas/technology/'truth'. I wonder if a 15th-16th century individual like Draka would come to the conclusion that god has been popular for a very long time because people are afraid. I don't think so, as I would've simply assumed that the mere notion of a single god would be enough of a reason why people would worship. It seems like a modern interpretation (not counting whether it's actually true or not) that 'people are afraid' is an ingredient to Draka's scheme. Also, the immediate main way to make money with that book I'd have assumed would be to sell it to a noble or write a few copies and sell them to nobles/merchants rather transforming it into an entire product. The notion to mass produce a product that would interest people is certainly not an impossible thing for a individual like Draka to have come up with, but I find it unlikely nonetheless. I guess the printing press is already around. |

Seems like Draka is led by his "values and conviction" and misrepresented his father's legacy by instilling and manipulating the values he taught her. What a POS! At that point, Survival is not an excuse The Bishop is also awful. Not only is he corrupt AF, but killing and enslaving people in the name of compassion. Exactly what the Lord would do... Hey, he wasn't wrong tho. Looks like the book is going to change her fate... |

| @MyllerPhiem It's her conviction to make money, the whole episode revolves around that. Her father died because they didn't have money and we see Draka during the entire episode searching for ways to win more money. She was trying to convince the tribe leader to reward more money to the workers that are more productive. So, of course when she saw a book with knowledge that is unknown she thought of how she can make some profit. 2. So you think all these strong characters we've seen until now were strong because they were part of the church or because they had strong convictions to begin with? In my opinion, once she was taught to not believe in God she also stopped living the modest live the church teaches. |
